Talk about hatin’ on Barack Obama!  Three White men from New York were so angry that he had become the first African-American president that they went into a frenzy, yelling racial slurs and beating up Black folks, according to federal prosecutors. They even whipped a White man they thought was Black.

"Shortly after learning of Barack Obama's victory, [they] decided to find African Americans to assault in retaliation for an African-American winning the election," prosecutors said in court papers Wednesday.

The racist trio first hunted down a young Liberian immigrant, whom they pummeled with a metal pipe and police baton; then they pushed another Black man to the ground; their next feat was drive their car over a man they mistook for a Black man, according to the indictment, which was unsealed in Brooklyn. The man who was run over was in a coma for several days.

Charged with the heinous acts were Ralph Nicoletti, 18, Michael Contreras, 18, and Brian Carranza, 21, who were arrested and arraigned Wednesday. Another defendant is expected to plead guilty to unspecified charges, according to law enforcement officials.

The three had gotten riled up before their hate-filled rampage after watching the poll results pour in on Election Day at their clubhouse. The indictment says that Nicoletti was part of a vigilante crew whose "primary purpose is to defend its members in inter-neighborhood disputes, some of which have resulted in significant violence.”

The defendants are looking at up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
